Dear teachers, guests and students,

大家好！

    Hello everyone!

今天，我们一起参加这个隆重的毕业典礼，和同学们共同分享完成学业的喜悦，与老师们共享教书育人的成果，作为家长代表我站在这里，非常荣幸。

Today, here we are at the commencement to share with all the students our graduates’ joy as they are about to finish their high school years, and also their successes, which owe a great deal to all teachers’ hard work. I am very honored to be here as a parent representative.

我也参加了去年的毕业典礼，我的感受是：又盼毕业季，又想这一天慢点儿来。

I attended last year’s commencement as well. I am really ambivalent about this day because I have been looking forward to it, and meanwhile hoping it won’t come so soon.

回想2年前，我们曾经有过一段很迷茫的阶段，看了很多学校，但一直找不到我理想中的学校，直到走进宏润博源，见到一位校长，跟我说：我看到孩子眼里有光，你不用担心。

Looking back to 2 years ago when we were pretty lost for some time, we kept visiting many international schools, but we couldn’t find a desirable one until we came to SHBS and met one principal, who said to me : “Don’t worry because I see that your kids’eyes light up.

对，这就是2018年7月31日，在宏润大厦面试时，刘校长对我说的。

Yes, that was what Principal Liuliu told me during the interview on July 31, 2018 in the headquarters of Hongrun Group Co.

所以，我们来到了宏润博源，这所美丽的学校。

So, here we come, to the beautiful campus of SHBS.

在这里，不仅传授孩子们知识，还教孩子们做人、做事。

Here, our kids are taught not only knowledge of different areas of learning but also social skills and skills to handle affairs.

学校设有丰富的专业课程，同学们可以按自身计划各取所需

The school offers a lot of professional courses that students can choose from, based on their plans.

还有最默契的师生关系，她（他）们亦师亦友。

Here has the most tacit(taesit) relationship between teachers and students. They are also friends beyond a student-teacher relationship.

这里有应季活动，比如在樱花盛开季节举办的花香伴书香活动；

Besides, there are many seasonal events, such as the floral and book event held during the cherry blossom season;

这里有应时活动，比如结合疫情对学生进行价值观的引导和教育活动；

Some activities closely follow the current events, for instance, guiding and educating students on values in conjunction with the pandemic.

学校师生还热心参与公益活动，比如在自闭症日的错袜日公益活动；新冠疫情期的抗“疫”捐款活动.....

Teachers and students are also keen to participate in community services and charity events, such as the different socks day for autism kids, the anti-epidemic donation for COVID-19, and so on.

还有比如演讲、歌曲、话剧、朗读、运动等各种比赛，给同学们提供尽情展示自己的舞台。

There are also various competitions such as speeches, singing, dramas, recitation, sports, etc., which provide students with a stage to show themselves.

今天请让我代表家长向为同学们的成长倾注热情、汗水和智慧的老师们，还有为了孩子们的健康和成长默默奉献的全体宏润博源员工们表示衷心的感谢！谢谢你们的陪伴和谆谆教导！

Today, on behalf of all parents, please allow me to express my sincere thanks to the teachers who have poured their enthusiasm, sweat and wisdom into the growth of students and all the staff of SHBS who have dedicated themselves to the health and the growth of our children! Thank you for your company and guidance!

今天，是我们八位毕业生人生中非常重要的一天，在你们人生转折点时发生的新冠疫情，使你们后面的人生之路面临很多不确定性，困难也会多，但这也是非常宝贵的人生经历，请不要害怕、逃避，这就是世界原本的模样。

Today is an important day for our eight graduates. At a turning point in your life, there was an outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has brought many uncertainties and difficulties to your future, but this is also very precious life experience, please face the challenge with courage and confidence, after all, this is how the real world is. 

是啊，不经历风雨，怎能见彩虹。

Indeed, there shall be no rainbow without a rain.

从今天起，你们可能会一个人承受压力和孤独，自己排解苦闷与寂寥，作为父母的我们又何尝不是呢？孤身在外，请多给父母打个电话，发个视频，你们需要倾听，我们更需要慰藉。

From now on, you may be under greater pressures and face loneliness, you have to resolve these yourself. As parents, we face similar challenges. When you are alone in a foreign country, please remember to call your parents or send a video, you need a pair of listening ears, we need consolation.

现在，我站在这里，看着下面的你们，我看到了你们眼里的光。同学们，在以后的日子里希望你们：不畏困难，眼里有光，心中有爱。

    As I stand here looking at all of you downstage, I see the light in your eyes. May courage always be with you, with light in your eyes and love in your heart.
