2021届Offer喜讯传来 紧张有序的升学迎来收获的季节--上海诺美国际学校

上海诺美学校是一所全日制、寄宿制的国际化学校。同时获得英国培生爱德思考试机构、剑桥大学国际考试委员会、美国大学理事会AP、全球最大的非营利性国际学校权威认证机构Cognia四大认证授权。

上海诺美学校为孩子们提供“一基双轨四通道”。一基即IGCSE Foundation作为高中预备衔接阶段学习，并且结合中国本土上海课程大纲，强化学生英文能力，夯实理化学科基础，为高中阶段学习打下扎实基础。双轨即高中阶段学生可根据自身未来学业规划，自由选择不同的课程体系方向，美国高中课程（参考美国各州共同核心标准Common Core State Standards）+AP、英国IGCSE+A-Level课程。四通道即诺美四大特色班，诺美菁英班、诺美艺术大师班、诺美音乐大师班以及诺美体育冲藤班。

2021届Offer喜讯传来

截止12月2日，2021届毕业班同学陆续收到分别来自悉尼大学（澳大利亚，世界#40）、莫纳什大学（澳大利亚，世界#55）、昆士兰大学（澳大利亚，世界#46）和霍夫斯特拉大学（美国，北美最具价值大学#77）的offer喜讯。

As of Dec.2, Cohort of 2021 received 4 university offers! They are University of Sydney (Australia, World #40), Monash University (Australia, World #55), University of Queensland (Australia, World #46), and Hofstra University (U.S., North America Best Value College #77).

升学指导课程贯穿4年

目前在上海诺美学校升学指导课正式进入9-12年级。每个年级涉及三大板块，18-20节课程：

1、个人/社会技能（心理健康相关）

2、学术规划与学习技能

3、大学与职业规划

课程内容涵盖：情绪管理/心理调节的技巧、社会技巧、学习技巧、职业探索、

短中期目标设定、大学申请知识和技能等

Our college guidance curriculum has been embedded into the school's curriculum system, which includes 18-20 classes covering three major areas: personal/social, academic, college and career planning.

The topics the classes cover include: emotional management, personal adjustment, social skills, learning skills, career exploration, goal setting, college planning, application knowledge and skills, and more.

作业一：大学探校-选校因素。

College Search – Find your best fit college. 

Sample homework: Zoe Zeng G12

作业目的：学生在掌握了选校参考因素后，排序对自己最重要的5点选校因素，并选择两所学校，通过学校信息搜索网站和官网，搜索选校因素对应的学校信息。

Purpose: after understanding and considering factors of college search, students pick and prioritize the five factors that most matter to them, and search two selected universities for the information that is relevant to the factors. They can get the information from the college website or through the college search tool.

作业二：职业探索-职业兴趣测试。

Career Exploration-Career interests.

作业目的：学生通过学习职业兴趣的概念和霍兰德职业兴趣倾向测试，获得自己的三个职业兴趣维度。通过总结三个维度的职业性格和偏好和自我回顾，分析测试结果和自我认识是否一致。

Purpose: after learning the concept of career interest and attaining three Holland Codes from the Career Interest Inventory, students summarize the career characteristics of each code of the three and analyze if their self-identity matches the assessment result and why.

作业三：个人探索-核心自我。

Self Exploration – My foundation.

作业目的：在了解核心自我的概念的基础上，洞察自己的内在喜好，并思考这些发现如何指导自己做出高中和大学的计划。

Purpose: based on the understanding of the concept of Personal Foundation (core self), students explore their internal passion and how the findings assist them in planning for high school and college.

作业四：个人探索-兴趣与职业。

Self Exploration – Interests and Careers.

作业目的：在发现自我兴趣和核心自我的基础上，探究融合个人兴趣的职业，发现多个兴趣与多个职业之间的共同点，并思考哪个职业可以融合尽可能多的个人兴趣点。

Purpose: Explore the careers related to the interests and self-foundation identified by the students, further considering the types of careers that merge more than one interest. 

作业五：路径探索-技能与职业。

Path to my Future-Skills and Careers.

作业目的：通过对技能概念和作用的了解，回顾个人经历和活动锻炼的个人技能，并思考这些技能对今天的自己的帮助。

Purpose: students look at the skills developed through personal experiences (activities or clubs) and how these skills benefit in shaping who they are today.

作业六：路径探索-设定目标。

Path to my Future-Setting the Goal.

作业目的：在掌握长期目标和短期目标的概念后，写下一个长期目标和多个能辅助实现长期目标的短期目标，并讨论为什么设定这些短期目标和如何达成。

Purpose: after mastering the concept of long-term and short-term goals, students write down their own goals and why and how the short-term goals direct them to achieve their long-term goals.

海外院校招生官紧密沟通

Abundant Universities Resources

每学年诺美学校为在校生举办海外院校展（疫情期间以线上的形式举行），每月邀请海外知名院校招生官入校举办宣讲会。此外，更与海外院校招生官及校方代表保持紧密沟通，帮助海外院校了解我校GPA、课程设置以及教学质量。

海外院校招生官参与我校组织的海外院校展以及以院校单独来访或为我校在校生和家长单独举办宣讲会一方面代表海外大学对我校的认可，另一方面帮助在校生特别是学生家长全面、科学地了解海外院校升学第一手资讯。本月，升导办与下列学校招生官、招生代表或校友进行了密切地双向沟通，并获得了部分大学在申请上的便利。
